  • Access to data and performance analysis: It is essential to be able to access information and analysis on the status and performance of all assets, which will enable more informed decision making.
  • Staff training: It is necessary to provide training to staff in the use of new tools and methodologies for asset management.

Downtimes 2024 R1 Upgrade

  • Implementation of “Downtimes” by Critical Lines, a downtime management system focused on the SAG Mill and other critical lines.
  • Creation of a Hierarchical Model by Lines and Equipment: an organizational structure was detailed to classify and manage assets by lines and equipment, facilitating supervision and control.
  • Configuration of the Required Information Solution, with all the necessary data for allocations, such as equipment type, equipment name, system, component and failure mode.
  • Configuration of a Maintenance Calendar that allowed planning and scheduling maintenance activities in an efficient manner.
  • Configuration of Formulas for Key Indicators such as Availability, Utilization, MTTR (Mean Time To Repair), MTBF (Mean Time Between Failures), Productivity and Top Ten Failures, for better performance management.
  • Access to Real-Time Reporting for all critical assets, improving visibility and performance tracking.

Improvements in event management

  • Downtimes configuration: Downtimes was implemented using a new hierarchical model, mapping the critical equipment to be managed. Thanks to its flexibility and adaptability, it was possible to map these teams to generate the necessary automatic reports.
  • Redesign of the Information Recording Flow: A new flow was implemented for the recording of information in shutdown events, improving the accuracy and efficiency of the process.
  • Real-Time Monitoring: A real-time monitoring system was established for asset availability and utilization, allowing for continuous and accurate supervision.
  • Improved Decision Making: The process for decision making and execution of action plans was optimized, based on updated data and detailed analysis.
  • Real-Time Report Visualization: Enabled the visualization of real-time indicator reports, including trends and history, for a better understanding of asset performance.
  • Integration with Other Applications: Facilitated the delivery of information to other applications, such as Dispatch, improving interoperability and data flow.
  • Reduction of Unplanned Stoppages: Achieved a 5% reduction in unplanned stoppages of the SAG Mill, increasing operational efficiency.
