Management on PIPER Plant Modeler
You will learn installation and configuration skills for Business Modeler interfaces and connectors using PIPER's recommended best practices. In addition, you will learn how to perform common administrative tasks, such as backing up and managing user accounts of authorized personnel who have access to Business Modeler.
You will learn how to create dynamic, interactive web-based graphical dashboards with Enterprise View. You will also learn how to use PIPER Business Modeler Processbook to access your process data through a variety of displays, such as trends and bar charts to monitor your process. And finally, the Business Modeler Datalink tool to create fully dynamic Excel reports in real time.
Asset hierarchies and analysis with Business Modeler Asset Framework
Here you will learn how to create different types of asset analysis to get more data insights. With PIPER Business Modeler Asset Framework (AF), you will explore a variety of analyses including multi-line calculation expressions, aggregated attribute summaries, event frames to capture important events in the process, and notifications to trigger alerts on critical assets.
With efficient administration, Plant Modeler can be optimally managed, ensuring that data is organized, accurate and secure.
PIPER trained and certified engineers will guide you to get the most out of your Plant Modeler.
With more than 6 years of experience handling incidents, we even know what issues can cause you difficulties.
The purpose of this training is to provide a working knowledge of the tasks required to maintain a Plant Modeler and support the technical needs of its users.
Improved system knowledge:
This will enable them to use the system more effectively, optimize processes and maximize the value of the data collected.
Increased operational efficiency:
Training on asset hierarchies and analysis in the PIPER Plant Modeler helps employees understand how to organize and structure assets, enables better data management, and facilitates the identification of areas for improvement, leading to greater operational efficiency.
Informed decision making:
PIPER Plant Modeler training provides employees with the necessary skills to effectively access, analyze and visualize data. This enables them to make decisions based on real-time information.
Reduced costs and downtime:
The goal of our training courses is to reduce errors and optimize the use of the platform. This can lead to lower operating costs and reduced downtime, as problems can be identified and fixed more quickly.
Give companies a competitive advantage by enabling them to fully utilize the capabilities, cross-team collaboration and functionality of the system. This can help optimize processes, improve productivity and stay ahead in an increasingly competitive market.
Return on Investment (ROI):
PIPER Plant Modeler training can generate measurable ROI by improving operational efficiency, reducing costs, streamlining processes and increasing informed decision making. ROI can manifest itself in time savings, reduced errors, improved productivity and increased competitiveness in the marketplace.
Scope of the Training Service
A pre-service training service checklist will be reviewed. Classes may be interactive for the administration course in Plant Modeler, but for those in the IT area it could be face-to-face. The virtual course will be in a pre-configured virtual learning environment hosted in the Microsoft® Azure cloud exclusively for student use during class.
We will have documentation for the courses where the courses will have a maximum of 12 students per class, so the training material will be up to date with the latest version of the PIPER Plant Modeler tools. If you would like the class to be taught with an older version of our software, you must specify this at the time of ordering so that we can prepare the appropriate course documentation and training certificates for each student.
Individuals to be trained must have the following skills: Experience navigating a Microsoft Windows operating system. Some experience working with Microsoft Excel. And basic knowledge of the PIPER Plant Modeler is recommended, but not required.
If using Azure, students must be able to connect to virtual machines through a remote desktop connection (required firewall ports must be open). In case the training is virtual, a fully equipped classroom must be provided.
Times Managed for the Service
We will deliver training materials on or before the first day of the course. We suggest having the class Tuesday through Friday. This will allow the instructor to travel Monday morning and perform any necessary setup and testing prior to the scheduled training days:
